Some portraits of Laura and David who are getting married this Saturday. Lovely colours but we decided to stick with black and white. They’ve picked the middle image for a signboard. Love it.

Reception at home in a big Marquee so looking forward to it guys!

Guest Registry Album – Cara & Nick – Engagement Shoot

Just thought I’d post some images I took of a guest registry album I put together for Cara and Nick who got married yesterday

Images were from an engagement portrait shoot I did a few months ago.

The album comes from my album manufacturer, Queensberry. It is a 10 x 7 demi album which comes in a velvet or cotton bag and holds 11 images. The album is always designed so that there is a blank side on each spread to allow wedding guests to write some nice comments. This particular one was passed around at the pre-dinner reception and I think again during the speeches. It’s a nice keepsake I think. What do you think?

Koren & Jacob – NYC Prewed

I know I sound like the t-shirt but I really do love Manhattan. I have been there about 7 times but this was the second photo shoot I have done in NYC.

Last time it lashed rained but this time it was an altogether different story. Think 23 degrees and beautiful blue blue skies, but completely freakish weather as this was the 18th March. Just think two weeks previously people were skiing across Central Park

I had the pleasure of shooting the pre-wed of Koren and Jacob, who both live in Manhattan, but who are getting married at the Powerscourt Estate next month.

We kicked off the shoot in Central Park. It was jammed with people. Hard sunshine and very little in the way of shade as there were no leaves on the trees, but I love the the saturated colours you get from a day like this.

I love the image of Koren and Jacob with the San Remo Apartments in the background, this is one of my favourite buildings, and the image with the guitar player. He was giving it socks…..

Gareth & Jane: Prewed shoot

Gareth and Jane are getting married next year. Reception will be at Powerscourt Estate. Loved the shoot guys, particularly the shots in the marram grass. On the beach we were exposed to the elements Tricky lighting conditions at times with intermittent strong sunshine, but love seeing that blue sky. it is a thing of rare beauty . Here are a selection of images from the shoot.

Aoife & Derek- Prewed shoot

Met up with Aoife & Derek for the prewed shoot last week. They’re getting married on the 11th September at the beautiful Lyons Village in Co Kildare.

Aoife is a make-up artist with whom I have had the pleasure of working with on a number of occasions she has worked with me on a series of fashion shoots, some of which you can see on the blog. She’s brill.

Anyway we had a laugh, talked about the wedding and shot some beautiful imagery.

Some great natural chemsitry going on between you guys. Looking forward to the big day.

Joanne & Craig: Prewed Shoot 21st March 2009

Met up with Joaane & Craig for their prewed shoot last month. They are getting married in August with the reception being held at the The Westin Dublin Hotel

Joanne and Craig live in the UK so the pre-wed was a good chance to catch up and have a chin-wag.

Really enjoyed the shoot guys and looking forward to seeing you soon!
