Fritz: Singer/Songwriter Album Shoot – Scotland

Great shoot last weekend in Dundee, Scotland. Shoot was to get images for cover and inside of Fritz’s new album, “There it is”.

Shooting with Canon 5d mark 2 meant careful composition for square format and room for text.

I know we were on the west cost of Scotland but it felt more like Arizona

Album recording is now complete. Some amazing vocals by Fritz and brilliant guitar playing and drums by his crew, Alan Duncan, Billy Fisher and John Curran. The tall man with long hair is John Curran. He reminded me of Brian May Click here to see and hear him playing.

Mount Falcon Country House Hotel – Commercial Shoot

Commercial still photography is an area that has grown recently. I should blog a bit more about it. I really enjoy these commercial projects. You go all over the place, and often find yourself in some interesting/beautiful locations.

Take Mount Falcon House. This is a little gem of a place tucked away in the west of Ireland. I have shot a good few weddings here so that’s how I got the job. Mount Falcon won hotel of the year this year and are in the process of revitalising their promotional material/imagery. That’s where I came in. Some images below:
